This was today’s workout from my coach. He always writes them down for me on note cards :) For part of our paddle I had them close their eyes and just feel the rhythm of the boat and just feel that swing. Calmly, I said, “Right now I want you to think about Moorestown. I want you to think about those four seconds. Every stroke. Think about how close we were.” Instantly our paddle became 3/4 pressure. After today, I just know that every single one of them wants this more than anything. And so do I. We have to do this. There are absolutely no other options.
